What is Mandy?
Legion M describes it as: ” a surrealist, heavy-metal-soaked revenge story with Nicolas Cage at the center of the madness. IMDB writes: “Mandy is set in the primal wilderness of 1983 where Red Miller, a broken and haunted man hunts an unhinged religious sect who slaughtered the love of his life.”

What was Legion M’s role?
Legion M’s 40,000-plus member/investors (*waves*) helped finance the film and, specifically, the score.

In addition to investing in the film, we also invested directly in the film’s score, giving us a diversified revenue stream and the opportunity to invest in yet another Hollywood luminary. Jóhann’s riveting work has captivated audiences, from the enchanting Stephen Hawking biopic The Theory of Everything and the mysterious sci-fi drama Arrival, to the high-octane action-thriller Sicario.”
Tragically, Jóhannsson passed away shortly after the film debuted at Sundance.
